We’re a couple dedicated to serving God, following Him wherever He may lead us, and loving everyone we can long the way. Join us as we serve in missions!
What is YWAM?
Youth With
A Mission
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a global Christian missions movement dedicated to knowing God and making Him known. With tens of thousands of workers serving in over 180 countries, YWAM equips people to grow in their faith and share the message of Jesus through outreach, discipleship, and service.
What Do We Do?
While we do many different things, and serve on various teams, the core of our work is:
We Mobilize
We believe that everyone has a role to play in responding to the Great Commission. While some go, some send, some give, we all should pray!
We equip
We believe that when students encounter God, primarily through the Bible, they can be transformed and discipled to look more like Christ!
We Send
We believe in what Jesus said that the Harvest is truly ripe, and the laborers are few, so we are dedicated to sending workers into the Harvest!
We Sustain
We believe that it’s easier to go than it is to stay, so we try to do everything we can to help long-term workers stay on the field and continuing serving Jesus.
What is DTS?
Discipleship Training School
Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a 6-month foundation level course in YWAM that all YWAMers take. It consists of a 3-month lecture phase where students learn more about God, are discipled to look more like Jesus, and then sent out for a 3-month outreach (mission trip).
Why Colorado Springs?
We work with the YWAM base in Colorado Springs because they were focused on reaching the least-reached of the world in primarily the 10/40 window. If you would like to read more about YWAM Colorado Springs, or what they believe, please check out YWAM’s website.
